Dutch drivers greatness is made all the richer by his dark side. Its why, even in an inferior car, he can still shatter Lando Norriss dreams of first world title
L ouis CK, the comedian, was explaining one of the myths of his trade. They say comedy should never punch down, he said, but thats not true. You pretend you dont like comedy that punches down. If you have a maid or a cleaning lady in an office who has, like, five jobs, and she sees the boss walk by whos a billionaire and she says, F*** him, youre like, Yeah. But if a billionaire goes up to a little cleaning lady and spills coffee on her head and goes, Ha ha, of course its a trillion times funnier. Punching up is crusading punching down is just horrible. So its hysterically funny.
And thats how comedians like it. Dark. If you want to make an audience laugh, you dress a man up like an old lady and push her down the stairs, wrote Tina Fey.
